I just got myself a cheap and nasty Namco Guncon2 light gun for AUD$30 (delivered). I bought it primarily to use with my PS2, but also to use with emulators – specifically FCE Ultra running the Nintendo classics Duck Hunt and Hogan’s Alley. To my surprise, it actually works! I’m using the WinGun driver, which allows Windows to recognize the Guncon2, and running my PC’s video output to my TV using my graphics card’s TV-out (the Guncon2 doesn’t work with LCD monitors). It’s so simple it’s scary. But that Duck Hunt itch that I’ve had since the 80s is finally getting a good seeing to.
